Description:
The Senior Project Manager, supported with appropriate materials, is responsible for:
• Manage and lead activities of projects to ensure that goals and objectives are accomplished within budget, schedule, and scope.
• Determine time frame, funding constraints, procedures for accomplishing project objectives, staffing requirements, and allocation of available resources to various phases of the project.
• Lead and complete documentation, review, and approval of project documents, including Project Charter, Project Management Plan, Support Model, and other project deliverables.
• Provide guidance and coaching on agile rituals, tools, and best delivery methods to use and advocate for these approaches.
• Manage the collaborative planning processes, prioritizing the work that needs to be done against the capacity and capability of the team and track progress.
• Proactively manage dependencies, resolve blockers, escalate more challenging risks and issues as necessary, and get the best value against constraints.
• Secure acceptance and approval of deliverables from the Project Sponsors, Steering Committee and Working Group.
• Provide stakeholder management and communication, including status reporting, chairing the Working Group and Steering Committee meetings, as well as work with other parties for project activities as needed.
