• Work closely with the Ericsson customer to advise Small Medium Enterprise of 5G testbed capabilities and offerings.
• Perform technical onboarding of users to a 5G testbed including the coordination of on-site or remote access to the testbed.
• Provide Tier 1 technical support to users of the 5G testbed and conduct troubleshooting to solve issues and escalate to Tier 2 and Tier 3 technical support resources.
• Complete reports and analysis for 5G testbed performance and support the day -to - day delivery of the programs.
• Implement surveys that can be used to track program outcomes reporting.
• Work closely with the Hubs and other stakeholders to implement programs, develop regular status reports, and support uses of the testbed.
• Support events that leverage the testbed.
• Support presentations to internal and external stakeholders on 5G testbed.
• Provide Mon-Fri 8*5 support in a control center environment.
• Perform product and service monitoring of Core & RAN components for an operational network.
• Raise, assign, and manage network trouble tickets if needed.
• Isolate problems and engage fix agents for resolution.
• Manage e-mail notifications for network events.
• Answer phone calls and route appropriately for network events.
• Performs tasks in a range of processes or procedures within defined procedures
and guidelines.
• Solving problems using standard correction procedures. May refer complex inquiries to more senior staff.
• Train and guide colleagues, customers and/or suppliers.
The skills you bring:
Minimum of 5-7 years of telecommunications network experience
• Good understanding of 5G and 4G RAN and CORE.
• Familiar with call center and operational center requirements and expectations
• Good understanding of telecommunications network topology and elements
Familiar with ITIL processes and procedures a plus
• Organization and multitasking skills are a must
• Strong communication skills with an ability to communicate effectively (written and verbal)
• Must be able to work 8*5 from the customer site at Ottawa and if required varied shifts to include nights and weekends.
• Must be able to work at office (5 days a week)
• Working level knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of applications
