196098 Senior Nurse Practitioner / Family Physician locum
Toronto, ONJob Responsibilities/Job Functions:
•The Registered Nurse performs a variety of moderately complex tasks which may include:
•Assisting in the provision of direct patient care; triaging telephone calls and providing clinical advice appropriately; coordinating the follow-up care of patients; providing practice management support and patient education.
•Acts as a clinical resource to support staff. Requires specialty specific and/or ambulatory care experience, strong telephone triaging skills and proficiency with some of the following: starting IV's, mixing and administering IV med., IM injections, nebulizer treatment, EKGs and suture removal etc
Job Qualifications:
•Graduation from an approved nursing program (bachelors preferred), and current license required.
•Over 5 year's experience and current certification also required.
HOURS: Mon-Fri (7:30am-3:30pm)
