About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Program Manager to oversee and manage all resources deployed in our programs. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing bi-weekly status reports to leadership, identifying and managing program risks, and maintaining close communication with stakeholders and team members. This role requires a deep understanding of software architecture and the ability to address issues faced by developers. Additionally, the Program Manager will manage the Statement of Work (SOW) and project resource lists, as well as maintain project financials and upsell technology services.
Key Responsibilities:
Resource Management: Oversee and manage all resources deployed in the program to ensure optimal utilization and efficiency
Scrum: Experience with Agile methodologies and Scrum Master certification is desirable
Release Management: Oversee release management, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of program updates and new features
Status Reporting: Provide bi-weekly status reports to leadership, outlining progress, challenges, and next steps.
Risk Management: Identify and manage program risks, implementing mitigation strategies as necessary.
Stakeholder Engagement: Conduct one-on-one meetings with all stakeholders to ensure alignment and address concerns.
Team Collaboration: Hold one-on-one sessions with team members to provide support, gather feedback, and foster a collaborative environment.
SOW Management: Manage the project's Statement of Work, ensuring all deliverables are met and documented.
Technical Understanding: A strong understanding of the software architecture principles to effectively communicate with and support developers.
Problem-Solving: Address and resolve issues faced by developers, providing guidance and solutions as needed.
Financial Management: Create and maintain project financials, ensuring the project stays within budget and financial goals are met.
Upselling: Identify opportunities to upsell additional technology services to clients, enhancing project value and revenue
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
5+ years of experience in program or project management, preferably in the technology sector.
Proven ability to manage complex projects and resources effectively.
Strong understanding of software development and architecture.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Experience with financial management and budgeting.
Ability to identify and capitalize on upselling opportunities.
