Digital Health Product Strategist - 20240718MB1
Burnaby, BCLooking for an experienced (Digital Health Product Strategist) who will lead the Provincial Digital Health product strategy program, drive efficiencies and use of common services, capabilities, and platforms with a focus on holistic, user-centered design and full product life cycle planning.

- Understand ecosystem of products, services, capabilities, solutions and partners
- Understand and champion the connected health experience and vision
- Understand and lead delivery of digital enablement roadmaps with focus on product strategy and capabilities to support the Ministry of Health’s strategic priorities, objectives of the Provincial Digital Health Strategy, and connected health experience
- Lead and guide decision making processes for product prioritization, strategic alignment, and efficiencies in Digital/IT investments management.
- Own the DHSO’s digital health product strategy program
- Empower teams and collaborate with product development partners, enterprise architecture, and business/program areas to leverage and standardize on common on platforms, product capabilities and uses
- Coordinate platform, product, and capability roadmaps
- Coach and coordinate Product Managers/Product Owners and UI/UX designers
- Engage and guide service design
- Identify gaps, issues, and opportunities for product innovation, enhancement and prioritization
- Work collaboratively with the delivery teams and DevOps teams
- Establish trusted relationships and manage expectations within partners, collaborators, and impacted parties and teams.
- Support outcomes-oriented and cost-effective delivery from a Product Management perspective
- Provide timely and relevant communications to multiple business and technology partners teams
- Support resourcing across product management, development and project teams
Qualifications or Experience Required:
A level of education, training and experience equivalent to a degree in Project Management, Health Administration, Business Administration, Information Management or a related discipline
- Must have 10+ years working in a Health Authority or similar environment
- Must have demonstrated 8+ years as a Product Manager leading and delivering Enterprise level products
- Must have demonstrated 10+ years managing IT system/infrastructure implementations
- 10+ years experience working in a complex integrated clinical systems environment
- Must be a relationship and team builder
- Must be able to communicate clearly with multiple groups of stakeholders with differing needs
- Demonstrated experience facilitating and managing consultation processes with a wide range of stakeholder groups
- Must be able to work independently to solve problems
- Demonstrated capability in handling sensitive and challenging situations
- Demonstrated capability to work collaboratively with Senior Management team and Executives
- Excellent proficiency with MS Office toolsets (Word, Excel, Visio, Project)
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills dealing with senior executive and clinicians
- Excellent project management, analytical skillset
- Team player with well-developed interpersonal skills
- Project Management Professional (PMP) designation (or equivalent) considered a strong asset
- PROSCI or other Change Management certification desirable
- Past project management experience with Identity and Access Management is a strong asset
- Proficient computer skills using Microsoft Office
