Solution Architect, Digital Experience

Position Purpose Summary:
The primary role of the Solution Architect, Digital Experience is to provide leadership in the development, communication, and deployment of the architecture and design for Salesforce Digital Experience solutions and related components (e.g., digital platform, integration, security, solution customization). This role will influence and impact the entire organization by promoting the strategic direction for Digital capabilities, enablement, and adoption.

Key Accountabilities:

Strategy and Planning

  • Lead the Digital Experience platform architecture domain, addressing all organizational needs, including Simpplr and Experience Cloud.
  • Serve as a recognized Digital Experience expert, introducing capabilities and advocating for adoption of the Digital Platform solution.
  • Collaborate with the Enterprise Architecture team to address Digital Experience requirements for strategic initiatives.
  • Stay updated on security integrations with SSO solutions and trends in Digital Experience architecture, particularly within the nonprofit sector.
  • Gain organizational commitment for enterprise-level digital experience initiatives and maintain in-depth knowledge of organizational technologies.
  • Contribute to program vision and advise on strategies to enable Digital Experience capabilities.

Solution Delivery

  • Lead efforts to build Digital Experience solutions using modern cloud-based technologies, with experience in Simpplr and Experience Cloud as an asset.
  • Assist with ongoing and future Digital Experience projects, creating architectural blueprints and ensuring alignment with implementation goals.
  • Ensure project milestones and deliverables are met within time and budget, and align with relevant standards.
  • Collaborate with business and technical teams to integrate business needs into technical designs, considering impacts across various business units.
  • Ensure systems meet business expectations, implementing proper testing, monitoring performance, and security requirements.

Organization Capability Building

  • Provide leadership in developing and deploying Digital Experience solutions, including Simpplr and Experience Cloud, and related components.
  • Promote the strategic direction of CRM capabilities and foster strong relationships between IT and business management.
  • Develop and maintain architectural blueprints and communicate architectural decisions, plans, and strategies.

Governance

  • Review IT procurement plans for architectural compliance and document exceptions to standards.
  • Provide governance and advisory support to projects, identifying and mitigating technical design risks.
  • Offer expertise in Digital Experience design, application development best practices, architecture standards, and provide guidance to project teams.
  • Oversee the review of all conceptual and detailed design elements, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture standards, policies, and plans.
