We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in software architecture and development, with a strong focus on Microsoft .NET technologies. This role requires a technical expert who can lead complex projects, provide architectural guidance, and ensure high-quality software delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Design, code, test, and debug new and existing software applications using Microsoft .NET technologies and relational database languages.
- Serve as a technical expert, working on complex projects with minimal direction. Provide technical direction to the development team.
- Develop project plans and scopes, track progress, and provide direction to the development team while reviewing their work. Make cost and time estimates associated with projects and escalate issues as necessary.
- Research and suggest new technology offerings, proposing solutions to the development manager based on project business requirements.
- Provide technical support to internal and external clients, addressing complex issues escalated from the help desk and monitoring trends in technical support.
- Education: BA/BS in Computer Science or a related field; MS preferred.
- Experience: 10+ years of application architecture and development experience.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Visual Studio, .NET Framework, .NET Core, ASP.NET, and C#.
- Advanced knowledge of microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with MSMQ, RabbitMQ, or Azure Service Bus is a plus.
- Experience with logging frameworks and SAST tools like SonarQube.
- Knowledge of Azure Application Insights and dashboard creation.
- Angular experience preferred.
- SQL Server experience preferred.
- Familiarity with GIT and Azure DevOps Pipeline management.
- Experience with Octopus is a plus.
- Knowledge of cloud-based monitoring and analytics platforms.
- Proficiency in PL/SQL, client-side JavaScript, and HTML.
- Experience in developing multi-tier Internet/Intranet applications in cross-browser environments.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytic and design capabilities.
- Project Management: Solid business acumen and project management skills.
- Organizational Skills: Self-starter with excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Agile Experience: Familiarity with Agile SCRUM methodologies preferred.
