Primary Responsibilities:
Enhance IT customer communication and collaboration migrations according to service agreements.
Design, plan, and perform Microsoft Exchange, SharePoint, and Office 365 migrations.
Lead design, planning, and implementation of Microsoft Exchange 2010/2013 and Active Directory solutions.
Design, plan, and implement Windows Server technologies.
Manage other messaging solutions such as anti-virus/anti-spam appliances, archiving, mobility, or real-time collaboration solutions.
Lead and delivered project-based assignments, including system architecture, proof-of-concept, and deployment services.
Perform system reviews of client telephony environments and prepare documentation outlining short- and long-term strategies.
Facilitate and lead client configuration planning meetings, presenting the pros & cons of design/architecture decisions related to factors like latency, storage, and startup/shutdown.
Work with other technical experts and company leadership to develop innovative solutions for complex challenges.
Skills & Experience Needed:
Technical Experience:
8+ years of progressive experience in technical solutions development using Microsoft platforms, including extensive design, architecture, and deployment of messaging solutions.
3+ years of experience in solutions consulting, covering full-lifecycle technical leadership from requirements gathering through implementation, transition, and operations.
Strong experience with Microsoft Online Services (Office 365 or Azure).
Minimum 5 years of technical experience in:
· Microsoft Core Infrastructure: Windows Server, Microsoft Active Directory and Group Policy, ADFS.
· Microsoft Messaging: Exchange 2003/2007/2010/2013/2019.
· Microsoft Virtualization: Hyper-V and/or App-V.
· Microsoft Windows 10 Deployment: Windows 10, Microsoft Deployment Toolkit, Windows Deployment Services.
· Microsoft System Center: SCCM, SCOM, SCSM, SCVVM.
· Microsoft SharePoint: SharePoint 2003/2007/2010/2013.
· Teams/OCS and SQL Server.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with PowerShell.
Knowledge of Agile life-cycle processes.
Experience with MS Teams Voice and Unified Messaging (UM) or voicemail platforms is a plus.
Understanding of competitive technologies and their feasibility for migrating/integrating with Microsoft platforms.
Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Design, Management Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field (desired).
Certifications:
Exchange Ranger Training (preferred).
Microsoft Certified Architect (preferred).
Office 365 MCSA, MCSE: Messaging, and MCM Exchange certifications (preferred).
