Network Operations Technician- Req- 00376
GTA East, Scarborough, York region, DurhamReq- JOB DESCRIPTION:
NOTE: To cover GTA East area (i.e. Scarborough, York region, Durham Region)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide network support and troubleshooting Network IMTs, RSSI issues and support Network Technician team with day to day activities
Support Network Expansion, commissioning activities, Call testing, work acceptance, 1023 inspections of New Build and Uplift work, Cisco insertion, Microwave hot cut etc
MUST HAVE:
Must possess own vehicle as well as a valid driver's license and insurance (mileage will be provided)
Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
At least two years working in Wireless telecom
Competent knowledge of Wireless technologies, 5G, LTE, GSM, MW
Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Willing to travel, work overtime and various shifts when requested
Experience working with Cisco, 5G, LTE, GSM, MW systems
Contractor to supply your own power and hand tools, also contractor to supply own safety PPE
Contractor will be given Laptop and phone. Rogers will supply the laptop, phone and any other test equipment. They will also supply a hard hat, safety vest, non prescription eye glasses and hearing protections.
The contractor should have basic hand tools, screw drivers, wrench hammer, power drills, they may not use these on a daily basis but may come across times that they would. For PPE they should have safety boots and winter coats.
