Job description: The Data Governance Coordinator supports the Data & Information Management team to ensure the Data Governance Framework is adhered to, providing data integrity and quality through audits and “health checks.” This role acts as a gatekeeper for all new and existing master data, implements and communicates Data Governance guidelines, and supports the team with day-to-day administrative data management.
Main responsibilities:
Create and maintain master data attributes across all segments of the buying office.
Perform validation and corrections via audit reports to ensure standardization.
Manage all existing and to-be sources of product data.
Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) in the master data operations.
Resolve data deficiencies, discrepancies, and inconsistencies.
Act as a gatekeeper for all reference master data in the system of record(s)
Ensure timely and compliant data maintenance in collaboration with cross-functional partners.
Maintain data processing and governance across all segments of the buying office.
Identify and recommend changes to improve process efficiencies.
Collaborate to develop and support policies/procedures on data governance.
Qualification
10 years of experience in BI / Data
3 years of experience as a Data Governance Coordinator
Strong understanding of business processes related to merchandise systems and reporting.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
High attention to detail in data entry and analysis.
Proactive and capable of anticipating team needs.
Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize work.
Effective communication and collaboration with key business stakeholders.
Demonstrated sense of urgency to respond to changing priorities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, IF statements).
Language: English or functional French preferred

Experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, MicroStrategy, etc.) is a plus.
