Job Description:
The selected consultants will assist in testing and validation of new and existing healthcare applications (EHR, EMR, diagnostic imaging, etc.).
These are long-term, high-impact roles involving hands-on QA, integration testing, automation, SQL, performance testing, and UAT. The successful candidates will join a cross-functional team supporting various system upgrades, regulatory compliance projects, and clinical application modernization.
Design and execute functional, regression, integration, and performance tests.
Analyze business and technical requirements and write test plans/cases accordingly.
Develop and maintain automated test scripts using tools like SOAPUI, JMeter, etc.
Perform system, integration, and UAT testing with business stakeholders.
Execute database verification using SQL queries; assist with schema and data integrity checks.
Collaborate with developers, PMs, BAs, and infrastructure teams to ensure quality throughout SDLC.
Conduct defect logging, tracking, and re-testing; maintain defect traceability matrices.
Assist in preparing QA documentation for audits and release management.
Support post-deployment validations and patch testing in production environments.
8+ years experience as a QA Analyst (manual + automation) in complex enterprise environments.
Demonstrated experience with:
SOAPUI or similar automation tools.
JMeter or other performance testing tools.
SQL (writing queries, validating data, working with RDBMS).
Supporting UAT testing and documentation.
QA in Agile, Waterfall, or Waterscrum environments.
Strong communication and documentation skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in distributed teams.
Experience working with healthcare applications or sensitive data environments is a strong asset.
Experience with provincial health systems in Canada.
Experience in clinical or diagnostic system testing (e.g., EMR, EHR, DI-r).
Familiarity with automation frameworks, scripting, and test lifecycle documentation.
Remote work permitted across Canada, with preference for candidates in or near New Brunswick.
Must align to Atlantic Standard Time (AST) working hours.
