Responsibilities of the Business Analyst include:

  •  Utilize in-depth knowledge of Dynamics 365 to analyze and streamline financial processes.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams and other stakeholders to create and document all business requirements and translate them into solutions.
  • Configure and test Dynamics 365 to align with Supply Ontario’s needs and best practices.
  • Implement, test, and document system changes to ensure a smooth deployment.
  •  Provide insights and recommendations for improving financial and accounting practices.
  • Assist with data analysis and reporting efforts to support decision-making and business performance.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
  • Mentor and support Finance team members in understanding Dynamics 365 functionalities and best practices.

 Qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  •  Professional certification in accounting (e.g., CPA, CMA, ACCA, or equivalent) is required.
  • Extensive experience and expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365, including requirements gathering, system configuration, and testing.
  • Prior experience with Data Migration processes and tasks would be helpful.
  • 5-7 years relevant experience in business analysis and process optimization.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of industry best practices in accounting and financial management.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
  • Project management experience is a plus.
  • Proficient usage of Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

 Desirable Skills

  • Experience in the use of information retrieval packages
  • Knowledge and understanding of Information Management principles, concepts, policies and practices
  • Ability to translate business and data requirements into specifications sufficient for designing appropriate technology solutions
  • Experience with a wide range of methods, tools and techniques for business analysis such as: business functional modelling, business event modelling, business process mapping
  • Experience in structured, object oriented and agile methodologies for user requirements
  • Experience developing performance measures for business analysis evaluation and subsequent follow-up
