IP Senior Operation Engineer- 20230620- Erbil- Iraq
Erbil, IRAQWhat you will do
• IP configuration of different IP equipment’s based on multi-vendor environment (Cisco – Juniper – Nokia)
• Develop and maintain documentation related to the configuration, installation, and troubleshooting of installed systems.
• Monitor network performance and integrity.
• Participate in the training of engineering, support and implementations staff.
• In the event of a disaster or production down, is responsible to respond and contribute to the resolution of the operational disaster. May require working extended or unusual hours, and schedule flexibility.
• Provides technical leadership of responses to complex and/or major issues in the network.
• Performs other operational related duties as assigned.
Desired skills
• At least 8 years of experience in implementation and configuration/troubleshooting IP equipment’s (Switches – Routers – Firewalls).
• Configuration of IP equipment’s based on multi-vendor environment (Cisco (IOS,IOS-XR,IOS-XE), juniper (Junos), Nokia)
• Solid MPLS implementation (including L2VPN and L3VPN services) and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong knowledge in IP routing Protocols configurations and troubleshooting (OSPF, ISIS, BGP)
• Experience with network diagnostic, monitoring and analysis tools (e.g., SolarWinds network tools) • Sharp troubleshooting skills.
• Cisco or Juniper certifications is a plus (professional and expert levels).
