Job Description: SENIOR PRODUCT MANAGER - BANKING PRODUCTS -
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Project Manager to play a critical role in the management and maintenance of 110+ business and retail banking products and initiatives across our diverse systems landscape. This includes our SAP banking solutions, websites, AI advice services, and reporting platforms. You will be instrumental in leading our project teams through the Solution Delivery Life Cycle process to implement new and modify existing banking and payment products. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute directly to the evolution of our banking products and services.
PROJECT MANAGEMENT REQUIREMENTS:
- Responsible for the end to end management of a project through the full lifecycle from planning to close-out phases
Successfully deliver the defined goals and objectives within the project’s start and end dates
- Collaborate with the IT team, business stakeholders, and vendors to develop a comprehensive migration plan that aligns with the company's business objectives and technical requirements
- Ensures the accurate and timely preparation of all necessary reports and records regarding program deliverables including: Maintains RAID log, manages dependencies and constraints. Weekly status meetings & reporting. Monthly financials, budgeting/forecasting. Prepares & maintains PM deliverables.
- Adheres to the PMO Project Delivery Framework
- Applies established PMO tools, processes and standards
- Supports day to day project deliverables as determined by project plan
- Works to ensure minimal organizational exposure and risk on project(s)
- Coordinates and host meetings with stakeholders to ensure delivery of projects as part of the program plan
- Supervises a cross functional group of team members from across the organization to ensure the timely, resource effective delivery of project objectives
- Facilitates effective communications and understands how to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully
- Leads a high-performance culture; mentoring, succession planning and providing professional development opportunities for self and team
- Keeps key stakeholders well informed of the status of all deliverables
- Resolves and/or escalates issues in an effective and timely fashion
- Supports Program Manager in meeting/exceeding program objectives
- Ensuring the accurate and timely preparation of all necessary reports and records regarding project deliverables
- Provide oversight to ensure that all communications and project documentation is performed in a timely manner
- Tracks lessons learned over the course of a project and shares those lessons with team members and as part of project close-out process
PROJECT SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS:
- Preferably to have a proven track record in successfully delivering projects Banking Products in an SAP environment.
- Being able to work with ambiguity and tight timelines
- Being flexible in taking various responsibilities to support the team
- Being able to handle multiple workstreams independently while keeping communications flow
- Maintaining a hands-on involvement to ensure successful outcome
- Familiar with Smartsheets, JIRA and Confluence
- Experience in handling Third party or vendor management
