Project Description: 
This project will develop and validate a fully automated imaging-based prognostication technique (IPRO) that generates outcome predictions (survival prognosis, time to event in months, cancer specific outcome prognosis, progression, pathologic response, local/regional and distant recurrence scores) from diagnostic pretreatment and follow-up CT scans combined with other clinical information. The technique will be applied to subjects in clinical trials for solid tumors (lung cancer, prostate cancer, colorectal cancer, and liver cancer) to aid patient stratification and quantify a subject’s response to treatment throughout the clinical trial. This is a 4-year project and all data collection from BC Cancer is intended to be completed within the first 6-12 months.
Specific Qualifications or Experience Required: 
Our project funders are seeking a qualified consultant for data deidentification services. The selected consultant will ensure the complete removal of any patient-related or confidential information from the data before it is utilized for AI modelling purposes.
The ideal consultant should possess the following qualifications:
  • Expertise in Data Deidentification: Proven experience in the deidentification of personal information, ensuring compliance with privacy regulations.
  • Competitive Pricing: Ability to offer cost-effective solutions without compromising on quality.
  • Ethical Work Practices: A strong commitment to ethical standards and privacy protection.
  • Local Presence: Based in British Columbia, with extensive experience working with Vancouver Coastal Health and PHSA/BCCA.
  • Industry Rapport and Track Record: A strong reputation within the industry and a track record of successful projects.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with regulatory requirements relevant to healthcare data.
  • Robust Computing Resources: Access to advanced computing infrastructure to handle large-scale data projects.
  • Project Commitment: Demonstrated commitment to the success of our project, with a close working relationship with BC Cancer being highly advantageous.
