Department: HUB Implementation
ROLE: Tech Specialist

JOB DESCRIPTION:
•Implementation of Access projects in the Toronto Region
•Material orders and management
•Installation and testing of telecommunications equipment
•Contractor management
•Network Change tickets and Hub site access
•Work order management and circuit activation and cross connects
•On site physical surveys and documentation of HFC platform equipment and connectivity
•Accountable to oversee headend infrastructure augmentation (BDFB, Cable Infrastructure, etc)
•Provide technical support and troubleshooting for the implementation of R4B, Access and Core network deployments (Transport, IP Core, Spine & Leaf, etc)
•Collaborating with headend and wireless operational teams on project execution
•Beware and adhere to all applicable health and safety regulations, in accordance with legislation and related company policy
•Processing and auditing company's telecommunications invoices
•Coordinating with other departments as they may relate to telecommunications division or a project;

MUST HAVE:
• Electronics/technology/telecommunications background
• Experience with RF (Radio Frequencies), specifically cable TV
• 1+ years of IP Addressing experience
• Strong MS Office skills
• Highschool education
• Valid Driver's License (there will be a pool vehicle from office site, or they can use their own vehicle); will drive approx. once a week for site visits
