Contract Manager 2 -18534

As a Contracts Manager for Business Product & Service Resale within our Chief Procurement Office, you will be responsible for negotiating with suppliers, partnering with internal Product Managers and drafting, and administering a full range of contracts associated with Product and Service resale, including, but not limited to SaaS, Managed Services, and wide range of products. You will be fully supported by the Category Leader and Category Managers within the team, while contributing to team goals, with your superior knowledge and expertise in contract management.
This is a mobile role, allowing individuals to work 100% remotely!
  • Support contract negotiations with new and existing suppliers, focusing on risk management, due diligence and corporate governance
  • Identify non-compliant contract terms and work with Risk Management teams to obtain acceptance on terms and conditions related to, but not limited to: insurance, corporate security, audit, privacy and confidentiality
  • Draft contract terms and conditions utilizing  approved templates, in collaboration with Category Managers and Legal representatives
  • Renew and amend existing contracts in the event of End of Life, new product introductions, pricing and/or term extensions.
  • Analyze supplier contract and spend data, deliver insights, identify and implement cost savings and revenue generating opportunities
  • Manage the Docusign process, while adhering to compliancy of the internal buying policy and signing authority matrix.guidelines.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders and work collaboratively with Category Managers and stakeholders
  • Track and report on savings and revenue data

What you bring!
  • Ability to negotiate and draft contracts including legal and commercial terms. The ability to draft Scope of Work (SOW) schedules and provide input on SLA’s
  • Familiarity with negotiating and drafting Software contracts and a moderate comfort level with technical terminology related to Software and Software Licensing.
  • Proven experience in developing and managing successful relationships with internal and external stakeholders, with the ability to professionally communicate with cross-functional teams towards desired outcomes
  • Life-long learner and team player who thrives in a dynamic corporate environment
  • Working knowledge of Gmail, Google Sheets, Google Docs, Google Slides and Google Forms.
  • SAP and Ariba skills are an asset.
  • Strong communication skills and high attention to detail

Education, Experience, Professional Designations:
  • Bachelor’s Degree or College Diploma in a related field. Law Clerk certification is an asset, but not required.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a fast-paced environment


Must have skills:
