We are seeking a Business Development Manager to further energize the company’s growth momentum and diversify our client base. The successful candidate will be backed by a seasoned Management and Recruitment Team.

The primary responsibilities of this Business Development role will be to:
Meet set KPIs and performance criteria related to sales and new business acquisition.
Develop new client business opportunities for the company through email, telephonic sales calls and in person meetings
Conduct sales and product presentations to prospective clients
Follow up on leads to investigate and capitalize on opportunities
Develop RFP’s and RFQ’s for prospective clients
Develop and manage information gathering and sales development programs for the purpose of new business development activity
Assist clients and colleagues in successfully identifying, qualifying and hiring contractual IT/Engineering/ Telecommunications staff to ensure success
Interfacing with both clients and colleagues on a regular basis while managing sales cycle on multiple accounts
Inputting all activity into the automated system for tracking, managing and reporting purpose
Provide guidance and mentoring to existing recruitment and contractor care teams
Any other similar tasks and projects as required
Key skills and attributes required
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Experienced in business development in the IT/Technology services/solutions industry
In depth knowledge of the staffing industry business and sales cycle
Experienced in prospect client conversion
A highly motivated self-starter with strong presentation skills
An impeccable customer service track record and strong customer service orientation
A high degree of professionalism and business ethics
Excellent selling skills coupled with remarkable telephone manner
Highly organized with well-developed desktop computing skills as well as knowledge of internet technologies and tools
Good time management skills with the ability to prioritize and work autonomously
Compensation consists of annual base salary in the range of $ 80,000-90,000 plus commission per placement and a competitive benefits package.
This is a hybrid role involving two days of working from our office based in Downtown Toronto. You are expected to be meeting clients regularly through physical visits as well.
