Position: Regional Manager - BC
Type: Permanent/ full time role
Location: Coquitlam BC
Our Telecom client is looking for an experienced Regional Manager to lead and oversee the business operations in BC and to direct and coach our OSP (Outside Plant), Civil and Technical departments. This progressive position will be responsible for managing daily operations to achieve business
goals and maximize profitability, ensuring net revenue growth and retention. The focus is on new business development, driving growth and expanding the company portfolio for the OSP team.
Responsibilities will include:
Guiding management staff in BC
Achieving set performance objectives and KPIs
Evaluating and optimizing operational performance
Defining the scope of work and resources required on all projects and coordinate schedules across departments.
Furthermore, the ideal candidate will
Assist our Human Resources department with recruiting and helping promote a company culture that encourages morale and performance
Ensure regulatory, company and safety standards are upheld.
A deep understanding of financial management
Confidence preparing and presenting analysis, such as P&L, forecasts, and backlog reports, in relation to the operation of each department is key.
A bachelor’s degree in business administration, management or similar, and/or 5-8 years of prior experience in a management or leadership position is required.
Success as the regional manager demands three things:
1) Proven ability to lead and manage people, ensure operations run smoothly and have experience achieving revenue targets of $5 million dollars annually;
2) Possession of excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and a proficiency in Microsoft Office;
3) Efficiently and effectively perform in a high-pressure environment while demonstrating excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
