Job Description: Senior Data and Reporting Analyst

•       4+ years creating automated reports, using advanced techniques with various systems and tools, and with emphasis on efficient, high quality code and identification/mitigation of data integrity problems
•       4+ years and a solid understanding of SQL, and other DB constructs including stored procedures, functions, views and execution plans. Advanced knowledge of code optimization, including development/coding best practices
•       3+ years of experience in Alteryx to extract/manipulate data per business logic and expertise in reporting/visualizations using Tableau to present critical insights.
•       Expertise in Reverse Engineering existing legacy SQL codebase, runtime scripts (python/shell scripts) and extending it as required
•       3+ years’ experience in the Telecommunication industry with strong knowledge of Billing Platforms (eg. Amdocs, Netcraker, NetWeaver, SV etc), financial and business metrics
•       4+ years, a solid understanding, and demonstrated ability to apply Data Warehouse and Data Modeling methodologies into practice. With a focus on the ability to understand the underlying data sources and translating that knowledge into extending the datamarts for new requirements
•       Experienced in acting as a mentor to peers, providing guidance on technical solutions, critical thinking, and storytelling via data - relating the data ('What' and 'When') to the 'Why' and 'How' parts of our business
•       Good to have Hands on experience developing reports and dashboards using open source analytical frameworks eg. D3 or commercial tools such as PowerBI, Tableau etc
•       Demonstrated business acumen.  Ability to obtain essential information about a situation, focus on the key objectives, recognize the relevant options available, select an appropriate course of action and set in motion a plan to "get the job done"
•       Have a track record of delivering outputs that set the bar for quality, delivering complete solutions which are thoughtful, forward thinking (considering future impacts) and follows all internal processes perfectly
•       Ability to communicate with technical teams as well as business users
•       Demonstrated ability to build strong, cooperative intradepartmental and interdepartmental relationships

•       Lead the development of weekly and monthly reports to ensure the integrity and validity of sales incentive payments
•       Provide day to day support to other team members to resolve sales incentive related disputes
•       Assist in improvement of sales incentive related business rules to reduce disputes
•       Take high level business requirements, convert into technical specifications, build and work with others as required to deliver against them
•       Work with management to develop required reports, build and deliver them on a recurring or ad hoc basis as required
•       Build a front end to access the datacubes in Excel for use by management to perform regular and ad-hoc analysis
•       Ensure the integrity of reports and the data on an ongoing basis through regular maintenance and updates in step with changes to source systems and data on a global basis as implemented by IT
•       Build, maintain and run commission models (using SQL) in order to ensure commission payments are processed accurately and timely
•       Use Alteryx to extract & manipulate the data. Build & enhance visualizations using Tableau.
•       Develop, implement and document processes, systems and controls
•       Raise business issues to management and lead through to resolution
•       Monthly financial close and reporting cycle accruals financial audit support, etc
