Role: Process Specialist
Job Description – Western PSO
Responsibilities:
Lead projects to deliver process improvement initiatives to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of wireless and wireline network build programs. Deliverables will include:
•
Discovery and Analysis of existing processes within the Access Network and Technology organization.
•
Collect, analyze, review, document, and communicate business needs and requirements.
•
Learn and understand the tools and applications which support the business process within the Access Network Organization
•
Develop and obtain consensus on problem statements.
•
Develop KPI’s to track progress and effectiveness of process improvement initiatives.
•
Gather data, develop, and obtain consensus on a suitable process design.
•
Effectively facilitate process-mapping sessions to create “As-Is” and “To-be” process maps.
•
Ensure that business requirements are clearly identified, prioritized and satisfied by appropriate technical and or business process solutions
•
Lead definition of test cases, validate business functionality, and lead the overall solution delivery
•
Identify and present the key business issues requiring agreement by senior management to enable a process to be institutionalized
•
Institutionalize process initiatives including providing training and identifying process improvement metrics
•
Determine the most effective approach for reaching agreement in a timely manner on contentious organizational issues impeding successful deployment of process initiatives
Qualifications:
•
Proven process management experience including problem statement development, stakeholder consultation, solution development, and process mapping
•
Strong statistical analysis and analytical skills
•
Familiarity with telecommunications technologies
•
Strong project management skills
•
Post secondary education in related disciplines
•
Advanced skills in MS Office, SharePoint, Oracle, One-Vision, and Power BI
•
Strategic thinker who can make decisions, plan, develop and implement innovative solutions
•
Advanced communication, consensus building, presentation and writing skills
•
Demonstrated ability and experience working with cross-functional teams
