Q/A Tester 3 - 17132

As a QA Tester, you will ensure our products are delivered on time with high quality following our processes in place. We are looking for a QA Tester that have a high attention to detail, resourceful with strong collaborative skills to work on a high complexity electronic medical record system that involves using SQL, Web Services and Black Box testing skills.

•Perform Functional, Integration and Regression testing across multiple platforms, application frameworks, GUI and backend applications within an Electronic Medical Record
•Perform manual testing on a complex system; utilizing log files, extracting data from database to cross reference against expected results within test scripts
•Design, develop and maintain test plan and test cases utilizing project documentation including business requirements and system design to fully test that the solution satisfies the needs of the business
•Assist with creating and maintaining a library of comprehensive regression scripts and maintaining appropriate archival of QA documentation
•Ensure issues and defects are logged quickly and accurately while fixed defects are promptly verified and closed
•Collaborate with Developers, Architect and Business Analysts to ensure that issues and risks are identified, logged and resolved

•Provide testing support on UAT and Production issues

Required Knowledge:
•Continuous improvement of the processes and documentation worked with while maintaining commitments
•Exceptional understanding of black box testing on multi-tier architectures
•Strong understanding of database systems, proficient SQL skills, experience with SQL databases
•Solid understanding of Web Services
•Experience writing and maintaining manual test plans, test cases and reporting test results independently

Required Skills & Abilities:
•Knowledge of technologies such as Web Services, SoapUI , SQL
•Must have an extremely high level of attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks
•Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral; strong interpersonal and organizational skills
•The ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and unforeseen requests
•Excellent problem-solving, analytical and time-management skills to prioritize and meet deadlines
•Results oriented, focused on customer and team success as opposed to individual success

Required Professional Designation/Certification:
•Bachelor degree or diploma in a computer science related discipline or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Required Experience:
•Minimum 6 years’ experience in a QA role involving manual testing of complex medium to large scale systems
•Experience preferred in the health care industry
