We’re looking for a stand-out Senior Communications Manager to develop and manage all external communications and initiatives with our business clients across Canada intended to increase awareness and service utilization from their membership bases.

What you will do
  • Develop and implement an integrated communications plan for the business focused team, built around the team’s culture priorities
  • Develop and execute the vision to produce best-in-class communications to support business member engagement, client-side communications and pre-sales collateral.
  • Develop creative, effective and scalable communication plans for business clients, account managers and sales team
  • Develop content for targeted businesses and activities, ranging from customer communications, sales materials, sales proposals, targeted marketing campaigns and customer-focused events.
  • Help manage program-based client - focused initiatives individually and/or in collaboration with stakeholders in marketing, sales, account management and operations.
  • Be a trusted advisor, providing communications guidance to the Director and senior leaders.
  • Ensures clear, concise and consistent internal and external communications.
Skills and strengths we are looking for:
  • 7+ years of experience in leading client-facing communications
  • Experience within healthcare or employee benefits strongly preferred
  • Experience working with multiple stakeholders within the team and across the broader oranization
  • You’re highly proactive and take the initiative to learn about our business and product portfolio
  • You’re a self-starter and know how to lean on your colleagues, but you’re great at asking the right questions and digging until you get the answers
  • You’re an articulate writer, you’re able to synthesize technical and industry content and consistently produce stand-out communications
  • You’re a strong strategic thinker and planner, but also excels in rolling up their sleeves to execute with speed and focus
  • You’re highly adaptable and can manage multiple activities, you know how to prioritize important deliverables, and when needed, you work effectively under tight deadlines
  • You love collaborating with different teams on programs, but also thrive working independently
  • You’re a critical thinker with good business acumen, and have a proven ability to understand and simplify complex problems and messages
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite, and experience using Adobe Creative Suite or multi-media platforms is a valuable asset
  • Role entails national support - Fluent written and spoken bilingualism an asset (English and French)
