The purpose of this role is to project manage the upgrade of a mission critical facility monitor and maintain the mission critical infrastructure supporting the Freedom Mobile telecommunications network. Anchored in the Technical department, this position requires the flexibility (24/7) and must ensure the Business Continuity of the Corporation. Strong communication skills are required in dealing with internal business partners, service providers, consultants, landlords, and government officials.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Project manage the upgrade of a mission critical facility
Review and Validate all the designs and MOPs for CBIS Modernization project
Support the technical contractor during installation, Commissioning and integration
Quality check during and after the installation.
Technical trouble -shooting as required.
Reviewing the work orders from design team and update if there are any issues.
Support new and upgrade projects in AB-ON Markets
Coordinate to ensure the delivery of the shipment (equipment, tools, consumables, etc..).
Work to support the installation required, also Responsible to ensure quality control measures are followed and the site is completed per Freedom & design standards, commissioning, audits with other teams, sites delivery.
Coordinate with various groups within the FREEDOM Mobile wireless core network, technical PMO, Construction, Transmission engineering, ip Backhaul Engineering & RF engineering teams.
Deal with Site Landlords and building management for access issues
Develop and implement Change Orders with scope-of-work for mission critical equipment at core sites:
Electrical Systems – diesel generators, transfer switches (automatic and manual), UPSs, DC power systems, inverters, transformers, distribution panels, grounding, thermal imaging, arc flash / short circuit / coordination studies
Mechanical Systems – fire suppression/detection systems (pre-action, NOVEC gas, handheld extinguishers, VESDA, fire panels), CRACs, HVACs, gas heaters, leak detection
Life Safety – fire alarm, emergency lighting, exit signs, AED
Remote Alarm Systems
Change Management – Change / Task – details, scheduling alignment/implementation, monitoring, follow-up, and training
Clean Room – maintaining clean room standards
BICSI – developing/managing/maintaining structured cabling standards

This position carries a diverse responsibility and requires intense concentration in writing specifications, policies, and procedures but also requires physical strength, agility, and endurance to conduct, monitor, and audit services, and provide remote support across national time zones. Schedule flexibility is required as many operations managed by this role are undertaken during off peak or nighttime hours.
