Q/A Tester 3 (THPS) - 17009

As a QA Tester, you will ensure our products are delivered on time with high quality following our processes in place. We are looking for a QA Tester that have a high attention to detail, resourceful with strong collaborative skills to work on a high complexity claim adjudication system that involves using SQL, Web Services and Black Box testing skills.

Details:
•Perform Functional, Integration and Regression testing across multiple platforms, application frameworks, GUI and backend applications within a Health Adjudication Product
•Perform manual testing on a complex system; utilizing claim log files, extracting data from database to cross reference against expected results within test scripts
•Design, develop and maintain test plan and test cases utilizing project documentation including business requirements and system design to fully test that the solution satisfies the needs of the business
•Assist with creating and maintaining a library of comprehensive regression scripts and maintaining appropriate archival of QA documentation
•Ensure issues and defects are logged quickly and accurately while fixed defects are promptly verified and closed
•Collaborate with Developers, Project Managers and Business Analysts to ensure that issues and risks are identified, logged and resolved
•Create concise and information rich status reports and detailed estimates on assigned tasks
•Provide testing support on UAT and Production issues

Required Knowledge:
• Knowledge of AODA compliance with Java, IE, IE Edge browser and JAWs software.
• Continuous improvement of the processes and documentation worked with while maintaining commitments
• Exceptional understanding of black box and grey box testing on multi-tier architectures
• Strong understanding of database systems, proficient SQL skills, experience with Oracle and SQL databases
• Solid understanding of SOAP Web Services
• Solid experience writing and maintaining manual test plans, test cases and reporting test results independently
• Exceptional knowledge of the Microsoft suite of products: Win 10, Outlook, SharePoint, MS Access and MS Office
• Must have an extremely high level of attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral; strong interpersonal and organizational skills, team player
• The ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and unforeseen requests
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical and time-management skills to prioritize and meet deadlines
• Results oriented, focused on customer and team success as opposed to individual success
• Software development methodology: Waterfall and Agile

Must to have skills:
1. 8+ years of experience in a QA role involving testing of complex medium to large scale systems
2. Understand the full development life-cycle responsibility for the software solutions including requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, and documentation
3. Exceptional understanding of black box and grey box testing on multi-tier architectures
4. Solid experience writing and maintaining manual test plans, test cases and reporting test results independently
5. Strong understanding of database systems, proficient SQL skills, experience with Oracle and SQL databases
6. Solid understanding of SOAP Web Services and testing tools (SOAP UI)
7. Good written and communication skills

Nice to have skills:
• Knowledge of the HP NonStop Drug Engine (Tandem) screens and programs is an asset
• Experience with and knowledge of health care systems; familiarity with health care standards and security management ideal
• Experience in testing Java and COBOL Batch Jobs
• Knowledge of technologies such as Nonstop, Java, COBOL, Web Services
• Knowledge with the business flows in the claim management and submission
• Experience with Test Automation (involved in implementation of Automated Test Framework and creation of Automation Test script with Selenium or other tool)
