Business Technical Lead (Netsuite Administrator)

As Business Technical Lead on the Systems Insights Reporting and Analytics team, you will be XXX liaison between the business and technology. You will interpret business requirements, create test use cases, establish acceptance criteria, and develop data mapping and functional solution design documents for developers. You will proactively identify areas of improvement, manage new system integrations and become the trusted partner for the business.
In addition you will be our go to person when it comes to Netsuite. We will look to you for the day-to-day configuration, support, maintenance and improvement of our ERP platform. You will also be responsible for helping to drive our business systems strategic vision across our ERP, CRM, and other system integrations. You will work closely with internal business operations, business analysts, technical architects, and external vendors to identify, develop, and deploy new and improved processes and capabilities for finance, sales, revenue, and support teams

    • NetSuite Administration:
    • Strong understanding of NetSuite Reporting and Saved Searches
    • Account maintenance and sales territory changes
    • Manage products available for sale
    • Manage employee access to NetSuite and supporting systems
    • Manage NetSuite integrations Reports and dashboards
    • Build and maintain workflows
    • Create and maintain processes based on business needs
    • A strong understanding of Order to Cash (Accounts Receivable), Procure to Pay (Accounts Payable), Fixed Assets, and Basic Accounting an asset
    • Knowledge of AdobeSign, Nexonia, and Celigo CloudExtend an asset
    • Translate business requirements to technical specs … you’re the expert!
    • Liaise with business to interpret and capture reporting requirements, develop use cases, establish acceptance testing Collaborate with source system owners to understand context of information
    • Analyze data feed requirements received from the Business Systems, translate business requirements into technical design specifications, and prepare high-level documentation for the database
    • Develop SQL queries & use available data profiling applications to perform data analysis to validate accuracy of delivery as compared to requirements for each area of delivery and confirm outcomes have met the requirements
    • Troubleshoot user, process, and integration issues through to resolution, including root cause analysis and remediation plans
    • Complete regular internal system audits and prepare for platform releases
    • Obtain a deep understanding of media industry, products and services to translate complex product requirements
    • Independently gather information from subject matter experts to develop, organize, and write procedure manuals, technical specifications, and process documentation
    • Work with development team and leads to identify all documentation repositories, revise and edit, and determine the best solution for data compilation and centralized storage
    • Work with our functional business leads to define suitable processes to support operational, administrative, and change management activities
    • Develop and maintain detailed databases of appropriate reference materials, including research, usability tests, technical terminology and design specifications
    • Effectively act as the liaison between our users, vendors, and the application development teams
    • Evaluate and recommend revisions to standards and guidelines

Qualifications (Must Haves)

    • 5+ years experience in business analyst role with a focus on Netsuite and the ability to build advanced searches, reports & dashboards, workflows, custom fields, forms, templates & layouts (PDF & HTML), and roles & permissions
    • Knowledge and ability to work with SQL, HTML, Python
    • Strong digital media industry business knowledge including Order to Cash systems (e.g. WideOrbit, NetSuite, Google Ad Manager, etc.)
    • Previous implementation experience including user acceptance testing and training
    • Strong project management skills (organized, attention to detail, ability to work towards tight deadlines, problem solving)
    • Advanced analytical and critical thinking skills 
    • Strong data management abilities, including experience with Excel/GSheets and SQL for data export, manipulation, and upsert back into the system
    • A demonstrated ability to understand and articulate complex requirements
    • Adaptable and thrives in a constantly changing and time sensitive environment
    • NetSuite Administrator (SuiteFoundation, Administrator, ERP Consultant, SuiteCloud Developer) with some exposure to development is an asset
    • Previous experience with Power BI an asset
