Product Analyst

Key Responsibilities:
Performs analysis of business requirements for new or existing systems. Confers with business units to analyze current procedures, identify problems, and learn specific requirements. Design of business improvement processes for new or existing systems. Writes detailed descriptions of user needs, program functions and prepares design documents ensuring proper IT standards are followed. Reviews and evaluates capabilities and benefits of existing systems and processes and determines if requested program or program change is possible. Maintains application through the life cycle of systems. Provides support by ensuring stability of the application, addressing and resolving the issues in a timely manner. Coordination of testers, internal and external, and execute system and coordinate and support user acceptance tests. Provides reference material by writing and maintaining online help, and super user training. Provides the business to use systems and software by conducting super user training sessions. Manages relationship with the business ensuring quality and timely business solutions while seeking to continuously improve current business and system processes and providing quality customer service. Direct and provide guidance to junior team members. Mentors and coaches team members to ensure quality results for our customers
Qualifications:
  • Post-secondary education in Computer Science, Business or relevant discipline
  • Knowledge of business analysis, systems analysis and quality assurance methodologies
  • Experience in SQL and creating SQL scripting, reporting, advances analytics and experience in retail industry
  • Intermediate knowledge with Networking
  • Intermediate knowledge on Windows Servers
  • Intermediate knowledge with virtual systems
  • Experience with Pharmacy Dispensing systems and Retail systems, preference will be given to those with Kroll Applications experience
  • Ability to be creative and innovative thinker
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, including strong presentation skills. Analytical thinker
  • Exceptional relationship building skills
  • Excellent planning and organization skills
  • Ability to write high quality technical and functional system specifications
  • 7-10 years’ experience in a related information services role
  • Experience working on an agile team is preferred
