•Participate in the development of architectural design of new features and enhancements pertaining to IP Network, Voice Network & SIP Peering
•Develop and produce Engineering Planning Specifications for IP Network, Voice Network & SIP Peering to plan for and support the defined services, to augment Network capacity or to deliver changes to Network architecture
•Represent the department by coordinating with peer departments such as Product Development, other planning groups, Implementation, IT, and Network Operations to ensure effective planning and efficient implementation and hand-over between departments
•Participate and contribute to the development of the 3-5 year Capital spending roadmap and evolution for IP Network, Voice Network & SIP Peering.
•Produce clear, well-crafted project plans with specified tasks, milestones, and effort required against the desired service introduction and/or modifications to existing Networks (IP Network, Voice Network & SIP Peering)
•Accurately determine capital and operating expenses, and obtain required approval for budget funding. Manage spending to budget and manage cost overrun issues pertaining to IP Network, Voice Network & SIP Peering.
•Provide regular project status and issues for escalation to drive project completion timelines.
MUST HAVE SKILLS:
•Min 5+ years of progressive Network Engineering or Planning experience in IP Networks, Voice Networks, SIP Telephony infrastructure, Wireless Networks, Data Center
•Demonstrated strong understanding of IP Networks, Voice Networks, Optical Networks and Wireless Networks
•Cisco CCNA / CCIE certification (Routing & Switching) or equivalent
•University degree/college diploma in the area of telecommunications or computer networks
NICE TO HAVE SKILLS:
•Knowledge of Visio and Think-Cell is desired
•Knowledge and experience with Power BI, MySQL, and scripting languages such as Python is desired
•Strong analytical skills along with verbal and written communication skills
•Ability to adapt quickly to change to meet business needs
•Strong interpersonal skills to effectively drive large network programs
