  • Work with mapping software to make informed decisions to proactively maintain our Network
  • Organize, schedule, and manage day-to-day operations for field teams
  • Coordinate with staff and/or contractor resources needed to complete locate activities, drop activities, fibre projects and outside plant construction
  • Work with contractors and staff to ensure that processes are followed and quality of work and timeliness meets our standards
  • Support our local teams with department specific analytics
  • Support with recommendations for budget planning and contractor rate structures
  • Assist supervisory team with daily, weekly, and monthly reporting and documentation for key initiatives
  • Work directly with Plant Operations Supervisors or Regional Technical Manager in support of the Customer Experience, the ongoing growth and development of our Business
  • Adherence to client standards, legislation and regulations regarding safety standards, local, federal and provincial statues, and support structures agreements
  • Adherence to all client Values
  • Participation in ongoing training, personal and team development, schedule/shift changes, promoting health and safety committee culture, crafting network design and deployment decisions, engaging in processes and initiatives at all levels of complexity to completion
  • Responsible for various Plant Operations Programs, timely restorations of plant impacting incidents, personal and team public safety, and onboarding new tools and processes
  • Serve as a department specialist and provide reporting and documentation for key initiatives on an ongoing basis
  • Contribute to process improvement within the department
  • Handle department related escalations at an advanced level
  • Assist with payroll, drop replacements, ASRs, locate requests, signal leakage, damage claims, invoices and other various plant operations functions.
    * Experience and skillsets with mapping software (Spatial, MapView, Google Earth) and GIS programs (MicroStation) will be an asset! *
