Bilingual Lease administrator (French/English)- TI1009-4

As a Lease Administrator you will be responsible for maintaining and updating all lease-related documentation and ensuring data integrity; administering all leases, rents, landlord information, payables, reconciliations and tracking critical dates and generating reports as required.

Job Responsibilities:
Review, abstract and interpret commercial lease agreements and collateral documentation, including renewals, subleases, amending agreements, estoppels, etc
● Ensure accurate and timely updating of lease information, including tracking and maintaining critical dates
● Complete the set-up of all new leases for new site acquisitions in accordance with existing policies and procedures
● Review rent rolls as required and process billing adjustments; resolution of rent and other landlord/tenant issues
● Participate in regular meetings and follow up on all action items assigned to Lease Administration
● Set up, process and maintain the lease administration records (SAP and future system) in accordance with internal quality standards
● Provide support to Property Management / Real Estate and other teams concerning lease-related issues and respond to all inquiries related to leasing information
● Provide analysis and support to the Property Management team on lease-related matters (including, but not limited to, change in ownership of landlords; new acquisitions, redevelopments, lease termination, property taxes, insurance requests, lease clauses interpretation, notices received etc.)
● Generate lease-related reports as necessary and ensure timely action on rent and/or hydro reconciliations;
● Recommend and participate in enhancements or improvements to leasing information systems and document management processes/practices. (SAP/Maestro etc.)
● Special projects as assigned by manager or other team leader(s)

Required Skills:
● Lease administration, Bilingual (French/English) administration or equivalent work-related experience;
● 3+ Years of experience in lease document administration, within the commercial property management industry (preferred) or retail.
● Intermediate 3+ Years of experience with Windows OS, Google OS (MS Word, Excel and Outlook or G suite)
● Knowledge of SAP is an asset
● Real estate experience, legal knowledge of lease interpretation
● Excellent written and oral communication in both English and French
● A Team player and able to work collaboratively and independently
