Epic Certified Senior Business Analyst

Activity A: Support: 0 - 20 (%)
• Application trouble shooting & debugging. Report/communicate & track
Activity B: Testing 0 - 15 (%)
• Work from provided specifications. Create test plans & scripts. Execute tests.
Interact with co-workers/users/clients.
Activity C: Training/Mentoring 5 - 20 (%)
• Assist co-workers. Transfer special skills. Write & compile training material. Conduct
training sessions. Train clients/users and do self-training and/or review relevant
Activity D: Design/ Analysis: 5 - 30 (%)
• Review, analyze & understand specifications. Consider & recommend options.
Document structure charts, data models, etc. using case tools. Comply with
department / industry standards. Conduct design review.
Activity E: Business Analysis 40 - 75 (%)
• Analyze & document business processes and requirements. Review, recommend &
select system solution. Manage client/user expectations. Manage issues & political
environment. Arbitrate between various players. Work with clients & vendors. Assist
users to formulate & write new policies & procedures
• Monitors and coordinates the execution of projects and provides administrative
assistance for project documentation, including procurement activities such as
developing contracts, project specifications, etc.
Activity F: Project Management: 20 - 50 (%)
• Manage both individual and team projects without direct supervision. Complete
proposals and cost/benefit analysis and define project scope. Determine resource
• Establishes objectives, targets and performance measures to support continual
improvement of program or projects for the Department.

• Gathers data related to system design and application, and contributes to the
design, development, testing, modification, documentation and implementation of


• Epic Certification in Clinical application(s)
• Community College Diploma or Undergraduate Degree in Computer Science or other
equivalent combination of education and experience
• Five (5) to seven (7) years of relevant experience; including previous experience in project
• Experience leading components in the implementation of medium to large scale systems
• Experience in solution design
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams
• Excellent analytical, problem solving, critical thinking and decision making skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Superior organizational skills and presentation skills
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
• Ability to facilitate working sessions with large user community and obtain agreed to
functional/design and workflow requirements;
• Demonstrated ability to deliver quality solutions
• A flexible and adaptable team player with ability to work independently as required
• Self-starter able to learn complex configurations of large-scale package solution and able
to communicate to the user community business options wile information them of
downstream implications
c. Preferred Qualifications:
• Supervisory experience;
• Report creations
• Knowledge of clinical workflow and processes
• Experience in documenting and communicating processes and procedures;
• Experience with quality assurance of clinical systems;
• Experience across phases of a software project life cycle;
• Experience interacting with development teams;
• Business process modelling & process re-engineering skills
