Build Project Manager 3 - 16333

Our client is in need of two Build Project Manager 3 consultants for an initial 12-month contract in Burnaby, BC.

* Leading a project team and using strategic thinking in order to use the clients resources in the most efficient and effective way possible
* Managing our monthly and quarterly capital spending profile
* Providing project status reporting, facilitating communication, and escalating issues when appropriate
* Running status meetings with project primes, providing a forum to align on priorities, bring up issues, and discuss resolution
* Building good working relationships with your project team
Must have skills:
1. Exceptional leader, communicator, and able to build strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders
2. Proficiency with MS Office suite (Excel's formulas and functions for large data management, PowerPoint)
3. Experience with Wireless infrastructure projects, involving BC Hydro, engineering vendors, and general contractors
4. Access to a reliable vehicle to visit the occasional site in BC

Nice to have skills:
1. Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and courage to drive process efficiencies
2. Five to seven years of experience managing all phases of complex telecommunication projects
3. PMP certification is an asset
