Senior Product Owner, Salesforce - 16176

Our client is in need of a Senior Product Owner for an initial 12-month contract in Burnaby, BC.

Looking for a Senior Product Owner / Sr BA type role
Lead stakeholder demos and walkthroughs of the new functionality Develop and explicitly communicate the scope and what is being delivered to the business.
Prioritize, manage and create Product Backlog items and ensure backlog items are transparent, visible and understood.
Work closely with the Delivery team to ensure development is meeting business user requirements, balance work in progress limits and deliver successful business outcomes.
Partner with the project team and change leaders to drive adoption.
Communicates with project managers, subject matter experts, end users and Senior Executive. 
Performs analysis for projects with some impact on and risk to customer service or revenue generation. 
Typically works on multiple, unrelated projects simultaneously. 
Suggests work packages to fulfill a solution within scope of others. 
Acts as liaison between business and system areas. 
Ensures projects align with the business and technical requirements at the strategic level. 
Understands industry trends and best practices. 
Analyzes, documents and validates user functional requirements and job specification requirements using interviews, document analyzes, tasks and workflows. 
Documents processes related to current or proposed processed work and data flows. 
Prepare use cases, create, and define test plans and scenarios. 
Acts as an intermediary between business and technical teams and defines technical and operational requirements. 
Communicates with project managers, subject matter experts, end users and senior management. 
Conducts analysis for projects that have some impact on customer service or income generation or pose a related risk. 
Usually works on several different projects at the same time. 
Suggest task groups to apply a solution that falls within the scope of other tasks. 
Represent clients in order to find solutions and establish priorities and make choices among various options offered. 
Provides the link between the business and systems sectors. 
Ensures projects align with functional and technical requirements on a strategic level. 
Understands industry trends and best practices. 
Must have skills:
1. Min of 4 years of salesforce.com experience.
2. Understand of B2B process and communicating with stakeholders.
3. Experience as a product owner
4. Work with development team, communication etc.

Nice to have skills:
1. Telecom business experience
2. Experience with JIRA
