Program Manager, Performance Strategy & Enablement (PS&E)

Description of Work:
Reporting to the Director, Initiative Management Office (IMO), the Program Manager is responsible for managing daily operations and stakeholders for Technology, Innovation and Engineering (TIE)’s Empowering our People program. Responsibilities include supporting PS&E to achieve program and organizational key performance objectives, while adhering to company policies and procedures. The Program Manager will monitor stakeholders and program performance to ensure the team successfully delivers each aspect of the program.

Required Skills and Experience:
Recognized Business and / or Human Resource Management degree or diploma preferred.
Extensive experience supporting project managers (Minimum 10 years of human capital experience).
Extensive experience, a minimum of 6 years, in a managerial or supervisory capacity within a dynamic / transformative organization.
Extensive experience in working within centralized governance constructs across the entire organization.
Solid understanding of organizational adoption methodologies (i.e. change management).
Solid understanding of the employee lifecycle and human capital value chain.
Ability to perform well in high-paced, highly demanding environments.
Strong delivery focus, with demonstrable experience in building trusted relationships with stakeholders.
Strong analytical and interpretive skills to recognize and comprehend complex issues, policies, regulatory requirements and industry information affecting client’s environment.

Additional Skills "Nice to Have":
Establishes a program plan; supports day to day program deliverables as determined by program plan
Works to ensure minimal organizational exposure and risk on project(s)
Champion for IMO Tools and Governance adoption into the Program (JIRA)
Coordinates and host meetings with stakeholders to ensure delivery of projects as per the program plan
Facilitates effective communications and understands how to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully
Keeps key stakeholders well informed of the status of all deliverables
Resolves and/or escalates issues in an effective and timely fashion
Supports Managing Director, PS&E in meeting/exceeding program objectives
Ensures accurate and timely preparation of all necessary reports and records regarding program deliverables
Provide oversight to ensure that all communications and program documentation is performed in a timely manner
Tracks lessons learned for the program and shares those lessons with team members

Accreditation
Preference for candidates with Agile certification (PMI Agile Certified Practitioner [PMI-ACP]) or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
Preference to candidates with Program Management certification (PgMP)
An understanding of Agile based planning tools, like Jira, to run SCRUM methodology work.
Extensive experience with project management software tools
Ability to oversee teams in the effective and efficient delivery of projects / initiatives.
