Our client in Vancouver or Edmonton is in need of a Product Manager for an initial 6 month contract with high possibility of extension

Responsibilities
Be the champion of relationships:
  • Work closely with various cross functional teams to prioritize features, roadmaps and deliverables
  • Communicate with stakeholders to gain product buy-in by understanding product use cases, requirements and the business case
  • Collaborate with our dedicated Scrum team based out of Vancouver, British Columbia (BC) to ensure our team drives what customers expect to fulfill both short and long term company goals
  • Inspire others by sharing the product vision through insights and storytelling
Drive the product vision:
  • Oversee and develop a backlog of user stories that will drive customer value and help reduce customer effort
  • Work with the Scrum team to articulate data-driven end-to-end customer experiences
Deliver business and customer value:
  • Leveraging tools like service design develop best in class customer experiences
  • Develop and understand the feature and product business cases, to ensure feature roadmap addresses key customer and business opportunities
  • With a healthy obsession looking for a “better way” to do things
  • Noted for your Intellectual curiosity, grit, and a genuine passion for solving problems
  • With a knack for building Interpersonal relationships with a variety of stakeholders
  • Entrepreneur and self-motivating, with experience developing and leading a product vision
  • With an ability to use data to solve problems and improve products, using both quantitative and qualitative research
  • Ability to build and maintain a product business case, to forecast and validate feature benefits
Great-to-haves
  • 3-5 years of Product Management or Product Owner experience in an agile delivery environment
  • Undergraduate degree in Business, Technology, Engineering, or other technical discipline
Must to have skills:
  1. Product management experience
  2. Use both quantitative and qualitative research to improve the product
  3. Ability to communicate with stakeholders to gain product buy-in by understanding product use cases, requirements and the business case
Nice to have skills:
  1. SCRUM or agile software development background
  2. Leveraging tools like service design develop best in class customer experiences
  3. Experience managing mobile apps, or digital experiences
