Project Manager

Markham, ON
This role is a member of the Portfolio and Product Management team, who will work closely with the Sales and Engineering teams. The successful applicant’s chief responsibility will be developing, managing and/or deploying mobility networks based on customer specifications and business needs. Working closely with the Customer’s technology team you will translate the customer needs and technology opportunities into detailed project plans that ensure successful deployment.
Key Responsibilities 
  • Lead the planning and implementation of customer-facing or internal development projects
  • Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables
  • Define project tasks and resource requirements
  • Assemble and coordinate project staff
  • Manage project budget resource allocation
  • Track project deliverables using appropriate tools
  • Provide direction and support to project team
  • Constantly monitor and report on progress of the project to all stakeholders
  • Present reports defining project progress, problems and solutions
  • Implement project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs
  • Provide project evaluations and assessment of results
  • Other tasks as identified by Director Portfolio & Product Management
  • PMI/PMP certification
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or similar field
  • Proficient in project management techniques and tools used in IT or Technology industry such as Agile
  • Knowledge of both theoretical and practical aspects of project management
  • Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Science, or equivalent experience supplemented by a minimum of two years in a Project Management role or related field.
  • Critical skills including: problem solving, decision-making, communication, team building, risk and change management, and conflict management
  • Wireless or Telecommunications Industry experience
