Job Description – RAN Project Manager (Telecommunication)
Manage small to medium telecom network projects (wireless) within scope, on time and
End-to-end accountability of project delivery.
Collaborate with engineering, procurement, IT, deployment, and operations primes to
prioritize and schedule project deliverables.
Lead regular meetings with stakeholders on resolving implementation issues and
variances, and develop action plans to manage changes and or issues on projects
Regular reporting and communication on project status, budget, and quality with internal
stakeholders and external contractors to meet project schedules
Manage and monitor external partner/supplier performance.
Effectively manage change requests on projects.
Effectively manage inter & intra project resource conflicts and constraint.
Required Skills & Abilities:
Strong understanding of standard project management methodologies, principles and
practices processes and tools
Ability to drive cross functional resources and external partners/suppliers to deliver
project schedule and budget.
Wireless network experience an absolute asset
Proven record of managing RAN projects
Vast knowledge of LTE RAN architecture
Good knowledge about 5G RAN architecture
LTE network implementation experience is a must
Ability to gather and understand client requirements.
Ability to negotiate, communicate and influence.
Comfortable interacting with vendors, clients, and cross-functional internal teams.
Ability to seek creative and innovative ways to deliver client solutions.
Strong presentation, oral and written communications skills.
Business & Technical process knowledge and acumen.
Strong analytical skills.
Ability to thrive in an ever-changing fast paced environment.
Demonstrated facilitation and organizational skills, including use of collaboration tools
such as WebEx and MS Teams
Excellent PC skills - Knowledge of MS Office products, including MS Project, Visio,
PowerPoint, Excel & Word.
Required Professional Designation/Certification:
University degree required
Formal project management training is an asset (PMP)
Experience participating in projects throughout the project life cycle
A track record for executing and delivering on objectives.
