As a Security Sales Specialist, we are looking for a self-starter, someone who will prospect, hunt and close opportunities, specifically targeting business clients that operate within the Small Business space.

Details:
• Actively prospect for potential customers using various direct methods such as cold calling and face to face meetings, and indirect methods including networking and events
• Building trust and loyalty with key decision makers
• Conduct “needs analysis” for clients’ wireless services
• Understanding current and prospective customers communication needs, business issues and buying motives
• Delivering the right solution for client’s evolving business requirements with prompt and efficient service
• Provide accurate and timely forecast, funnel management, target/objective updates to deliver on all territory plans
• Promote our clients’ reputation as a community ambassador, supporting events and building community relations
• Act as a subject matter expert on security products and services

Required Skills and Abilities:
• Strong negotiation and problem solving skills while dealing with business clients.
• Able to sell/manage business solutions and manage the client lifecycle
• Selecting and qualifying profitable opportunities
• Achieving sales volume objectives with business customer accounts
• Ability to deliver on growth and profitability
• Entrepreneurial within a corporate structure
• Accomplishes goals with minimal direction or supervision while making decisions within the guidelines
• Strong organizational skills:
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to informally lead and influence peers to drive performance
• Demonstrates strong customer service
• PC skills including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, databases, Internet
• Travel will be required: A valid driver’s license and driver’s abstract will be required

Education/Experience
• Post-secondary and/or equivalent experience
• 2-3 years sales/channel management experience preferably in a security sales roles.

Must to have skills:
1. Sales experience preferably with residential and commercial physical security
2. Experience building quotes for customers
3. Providing complex physical security solutions to customers

Nice to have skills:
1. Familiarity with Access Control
2. Familiarity with CCTV
