Workplace Consultant - (P-100619-1)

The role of Workplace Consultant will focus on meeting and exceeding our new and existing client’s goals and objectives regarding the development of innovative and integrated workplace solutions. The Workplace Consultant will also be responsible to increase our client’s market share in and to achieve the identified sales objective. In this role, you will work collaboratively with clients and partner with their consultants to inform the development of design concepts all with the goal of informing excellent and effective workplace design and implementation. Your role also requires you to conduct research and translate your deep knowledge of workplace trends and industry benchmarks into client-specific solutions.

General Responsibilities


• Uphold the Vision and Mission of our client and enhance the customer journey by raising the bar relative to solutions


• Determining the customer’s workplace issues


• Qualifying the opportunity


• Developing and executing an opportunity strategy


• Developing relationships with all stakeholders


• Driving brand preference to our client


• Narrowing down and validating potential solutions


• Working well with internal teams to ensure projects are executed well and high customer satisfaction


• Following up on leads provided to you through our client’s Business Development efforts


• Positioning our client’s integrated solution to prospects


• Use the Steelcase Worklife and our client’s showroom as selling tools to develop sales


• Participate in sales meetings and training


• Maintain your client/prospect information in our client’s Salesforce tool


• Participate in networking opportunities and industry events I support of these responsibilities

 

Your Skills and Experience


• University or college education in Interior Design, Urban Planning or another related field


• Self motivated with high energy and an engaging level of enthusiasm


• Must possess a valid Driver’s License


• Excellent working knowledge of current Microsoft Office including Excel, PowerPoint and Word


• Excellent listening skills


• Demonstrate creative ability and excellent problem-solving skills
