Project Manager - 2026-18

Calgary, Toronto - Remote Position, AB, ON, BC
As a Project Manager within the Cyber and Risk portfolio, you will lead the execution of strategic initiatives throughout the Solution Delivery Life Cycle (SDLC). You are a dynamic leader capable of managing competing priorities in a highly technical environment, delivering complex projects, and aligning stakeholders to achieve high-value security outcomes and cultural change regarding data protection.

As the Project Manager for this project, you will oversee the delivery of strategic initiatives that transition  towards modern, data-centric Zero Trust architecture. The role focuses on coordinating the execution of automated cryptographic governance and hardware security lifecycles while directing the integration of mature cloud access controls and unified communication integrity. You will facilitate alignment between core infrastructure and application teams, ensuring that technical workstreams across the enterprise achieve resilient data protection and architectural hardening.

Core Responsibilities
1. Strategy, Planning & Execution
-Be a strong partner within a program to develop and execute detailed project plans, schedules, and program-level roadmaps.
-Collaborate with Technology, Business, and 3rd party stakeholders to define problem statements, expected outcomes, and deliverables.
-Manage all phases of project execution, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and solution delivery standards.
-Anticipate and manage resource requirements to ensure project momentum.
-Collaborate with business to lead organizational change management.

2. Governance, Risk & Financial Management
-Proactively identify, track, and mitigate project risks and issues.
-Manage project budgets, providing regular reporting on financial status and cost health.
-Ensure all deliverables meet organizational quality and compliance standards.

3. Leadership, Facilitation & Stakeholder Excellence
-Provide motivated leadership to cross-functional teams, acting as a facilitator to bridge -gaps between technical security requirements and business operational needs.
-Lead complex workshops and discovery sessions to define technical requirements, ensuring all voices are heard and documented.
-Navigate complex organizational dynamics and negotiate solutions when security policies conflict with business workflows.
-Facilitate effective communication flow and consensus building across teams to ensure total alignment on project status and cultural change objectives.
-Comfortable interacting and reporting to senior leadership

Relevant Experience
-Project Leadership: 8+ years of IT project management experience, with at least 5 years leading large-scale initiatives and cross-functional teams in an agile-friendly environment.
-Infrastructure and Network Security: Tooling and Engineering
-Domain Expertise: Proven experience delivering projects in Infrastructure and Network -Security (Tooling and Engineering)
- Perimeter & Cloud Security
- Data & Infrastructure Protection
- Google Workspace Native Security
-Communication: Exceptional presentation skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for diverse audiences.
- Tools: Experience with Atlassian suite of tools, including Confluence and JIRA in particular

-Change Management & Process Governance experience.
-Project Management certifications
- CSPM Certified Security Project Manager is a definite asset.
