Salary: $90,000 – $110,000 per year + Full Benefits

We are seeking an experienced professional to join a growing Risk & Advisory practice with our client focused on next-generation risk, governance, and assurance capabilities.

This newly created role is ideal for individuals who want to work at the intersection of AI, risk, governance, and assurance—helping organizations navigate increasing scrutiny from boards, regulators, and enterprise clients.

While the role includes delivery across established frameworks such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, ISO 42001, and NIST AI RMF, it goes beyond traditional risk and assurance work. You will play a key role in helping clients implement practical governance and risk management structures for AI and emerging technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and deliver engagements across AI Risk & Governance, SOC 2 (audit readiness and audit delivery), ISO 27001, ISO 42001, and broader risk advisory initiatives
  • Work directly with senior stakeholders, translating complex technical and risk concepts into clear, actionable business insights
  • Assess and design governance frameworks, control environments, and risk management processes, including those related to AI systems and data-driven decision-making
  • Contribute to the development and scaling of AI Risk & Assurance services, including governance, risk, and assurance offerings
  • Support business development activities, including proposals, client discussions, and identifying new opportunities
  • Lead teams and engagements with a focus on quality, accountability, and delivery excellence

Candidate Profile

We are looking for someone who:

  • Takes ownership of complex, ambiguous problems
  • Operates effectively in client-facing, high-expectation environments
  • Contributes to both service delivery and practice growth
  • Brings structure, clarity, and judgment to evolving risk and governance challenges

Communication & Presence

You will be expected to:

  • Engage effectively with executives, technical teams, and business stakeholders
  • Translate complex topics—such as AI governance, risk, and control environments—into clear, business-relevant insights
  • Deliver concise, high-impact presentations and reports
  • Lead client discussions with credibility and authority
  • Build trust quickly and influence stakeholders at all levels

Success Metrics

  • Demonstrates integrity, respect, and collaboration in all aspects of work
  • Understands clients’ industries, challenges, and opportunities; consistently delivers high-quality work
  • Identifies, recommends, and implements effective service delivery solutions
  • Contributes to an inclusive and engaging work environment
  • Adopts digital tools and strategies to support innovation
  • Pursues continuous learning and professional development

Experience & Qualifications

  • 5+ years in risk advisory, governance, or technology risk
  • Strong experience with frameworks such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST, or equivalent
  • Experience or strong interest in AI governance
  • Proven ability to manage client engagements and deliver high-quality results
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage senior stakeholders effectively
  • Professional certifications or qualifications such as CPA, CISA, CISSP, CRISC, CIA, ISO 27001/42001, or other relevant risk, audit, security, governance, or assurance credentials are a plus

Compensation

The pay rate for this position is $90,000 – $110,000 per year + Full Benefits, based on experience, qualifications, and scope of the engagement.
