Network Engineer
Brampton, Ontario, Canada | Contract | Hybrid

Hourly Rate Range: $28 – $31 per hour 

Job Description:

 

We are looking for a Network Engineer for our telecom client.

Candidates must have experience working with Cisco networking, Cisco Routing and Switching and sound knowledge of Routing protocols such as RIP, EIGRP, BGP. 

3 to 5 years’ experience in network engineering and documentation 

Knowledge of networking hardware, including routers and switches Working experience of Access Network preferable DOCSIS Technology 

Working experience in IP based network(Router, Switch, DHCP,DNS,IP Management)

Knowledge of IP, including TCP, UDP, NATing, OSPF, and BGP 

Working Experience of programming, scripting ( C, C++, java,python, shell) 

Expert level capabilities within the Microsoft Office suite of tools, especially Excel and Visio

Ability to support a team of network engineers and client accounts in the network transformation effort. 

Strong requirements gathering and documentation of network environments.

 Respond to requests for technical information from Lead Engineers. 

Some knowledge of CMTS
