Scope:

The Technical Operations Manager is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing technical and operational functions, including safety, environmental compliances and process engineering. This position ensures operational excellence through effective process monitoring, technical support, troubleshooting and continuous improvement initiatives. The Technical Operations Manager works closely with mill leadership, operations teams, and maintenance to drive performance, reliability and regulatory compliance.

 

Responsibilities:

• Manage new work requested with operations and maintenance supervisors
• Prepare preventive maintenance plans that are aligned with the mill's maintenance goals
• Monitor work order completion, backlog, and schedule compliance to ensure machine reliability
• Ensuring the correct materials, services and tooling are available to perform the required work
• Working within a cross-functional team.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a Degree in Electrical Engineering
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills 
• Strong communication and leadership abilities with the capability to work cross-functionally.
• Knowledge of environmental regulations and safety standards within manufacturing or industrial sectors.
