Role Summary

The Technology Architect provides strategic business analysis and technical expertise for Data Centre Network (DCN) infrastructure initiatives. The role focuses on developing network strategies, architectures, service delivery models, and supporting procurement activities for enterprise-scale data centre and cloud-based solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic guidance and technical expertise on Data Centre Network infrastructure services

• Support the development of Second Stage Requests for Bids (RFBs) for Data Centre Network technologies and architectures

• Ensure solutions align with defined service specifications, standards, policies, best practices, and cost models

• Draft and deliver strategic documents, presentations, and financial models

• Lead Data Centre Network and security initiatives in alignment with established service delivery processes and infrastructure policies

• Ensure incorporation of information management mandates, strategic plans, environmental considerations, and technical standards into all deliverables

• Provide business and technical analysis to support current and next-generation service delivery models, including cloud and hybrid environments

Required Skills & Experience

Data Centre Network Architecture & Infrastructure (30%)

• 10+ years of enterprise-level experience working with n-tiered Data Centre Networks

• Proven experience in Tier-IV Data Centre environments

• Strong understanding of Data Centre Network technologies and architectures

Technical Documentation & Strategy Development (10%)

• 5+ years of experience preparing and developing complex technical documentation for enterprise Data Centre Networks

• Ability to translate technical architectures into structured, procurement-ready documentation

Service Strategy & Provider Models (10%)

• 7+ years of experience evaluating, analyzing, and developing Data Centre Network service strategies and provider models

Service Delivery & Business Analysis (10%)

• 8+ years of experience conducting business analysis related to Data Centre service delivery

• Proven experience evaluating service delivery models for Hybrid Cloud, private cloud, public cloud, IaaS, SaaS, and PaaS

Enterprise / Public Sector Experience (10%)

• Prior experience working within large, complex enterprise or public-sector environments

• 5+ years of experience developing complex documentation for enterprise Data Centre Networks hosted in Tier-IV Data Centre environments

• 7+ years of experience evaluating and developing Data Centre Network strategies and models

• 8+ years of experience conducting business analysis for Data Centre service delivery and next-generation cloud models
