Role Summary

The Infrastructure Integration Specialist (N/S) acts as a Subject Matter Expert for F5 Application Delivery Controller (ADC) platforms across on-premises, application hosting, and public cloud environments. The role focuses on F5 lifecycle management, optimization, migrations, networking and security integration, and day-to-day operational support within enterprise data centre environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as SME for F5 ADC hardware, software, and services across on-prem and cloud environments

• Ensure F5 platforms are maintained at N-1 code levels

• Perform cleanup and optimization of VCMP configurations

• Assess existing F5 builds and identify improvement opportunities

• Support footprint reduction initiatives during cloud transition

• Lead F5 application delivery initiatives and document processes and procedures

• Integrate and secure cloud services for applications

• Provide operational support for networking and security, including:

  • Data centres and colocations

  • Perimeter firewalls

  • Azure, AWS, and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)

• Perform daily operational changes and incident/problem management

• Provide on-call and standby support as required

• Close tickets within SLA and communicate status to clients and management

• Prepare technical Methods of Procedure (MOPs) for all changes

• Capture, analyze, and document network traffic to identify root cause issues

• Support network and security project initiatives while maintaining BAU operations

• Support and execute infrastructure initiatives including:

  • F5 migrations to R-Series devices

  • ENA service migrations to new B2B services

  • Data centre floor consolidation

  • Cisco access switch refresh

  • CheckPoint firewall refresh

Required Skills & Experience

Enterprise Infrastructure Experience (15%)

• 10+ years enterprise-level experience in technical or business roles

• Experience supporting n-tier data centre networks

• Experience in Tier-IV data centre environments

F5 Load Balancing & Networking (25%)

• Strong hands-on experience with F5 Load Balancing

• Solid networking background with Cisco routing and switching

• Security experience with firewalls including:

  • CheckPoint

  • Palo Alto

  • Cisco FTD

Cloud Integration & Support (10%)

• Experience integrating and supporting services across:

  • Azure

  • AWS

  • Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)

Operations & Service Management

• Experience with change, incident, and problem management

• Ability to meet SLA and device maintenance requirements

• Experience providing on-call and after-hours support

Communication & Documentation (10%)

• Strong experience interacting with internal and external stakeholders

• Ability to clearly explain technical issues

• Experience producing technical documentation and procedures
