ServiceNow Technical Architect

A leading technology consulting practice is seeking an experienced ServiceNow Technical Architect to join its national ServiceNow team. In this strategic role, you will shape platform architecture, establish technical standards, and lead the delivery of scalable, secure, and high-performing ServiceNow solutions for complex enterprise environments.

What You​ Will Be Doing:

  • Architect and design end-to-end ServiceNow solutions aligned with business objectives and enterprise architecture standards
  • Define and enforce architectural best practices, governance, and technical standards across ServiceNow development and deployment
  • Lead technical design workshops and evaluate new ServiceNow capabilities to drive platform optimization and innovation
  • Design and oversee integrations with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs and JSON/XML
  • Partner with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable, resilient technical solutions
  • Guide development teams on complex workflows, custom applications, and integrations
  • Ensure platform security, performance, and reliability through proactive risk management and continuous improvement
  • Produce and maintain architecture documentation, solution blueprints, and technical standards
  • Communicate architectural vision and technical strategy to senior stakeholders and executives

​Your Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • ServiceNow certifications such as CSA, CAD, or Implementation Specialist; CTA is an asset
  • 7+ years of hands-on ServiceNow experience, including solution architecture and technical leadership
  • Proven success delivering complex, enterprise-scale ServiceNow implementations
  • Strong expertise in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, AngularJS, and ServiceNow integration technologies
  • Experience implementing DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and source control within ServiceNow
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
  • Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence technical direction
  • Knowledge of ITSM frameworks and ITIL (v3 or later) is an asset
  • Exposure to other ITSM platforms is a plus
