The candidate would need to support the company PC migration from Windows 7 to Windows 10 and also to support our PC refresh program.
Manage appointments with the employees, prepare a replacement computer using SCCM, install applications, meet with the employee and manage the data transfer from the old to the new PC.
The candidate will handle all communications with the employee to confirm scheduled meeting time, to understand what data/applications they have. Information must also be updated in the ticketing system as well as asset info communicated for asset tracking. The candidate might be required to prep and pack machines for shipping to remote locations and receiving the old unit from that customer. Other duties may require the sorting and organizing of the old equipment for disposal. This may require moving machines into boxes and lifting onto pallets for recycling.
Knowledgeable in both Windows 7 and 10 operating systems, folder structures, SCCM for imaging, how to install software applications. As the candidate will be face to face with employee’s they must have excellent customer service skills. Be able to communicate clearly in English. Looking for a candidate who is highly motivated.
It is expected that the candidate work from the assigned office daily but may be asked to work in other our client offices within the same metro region.
The candidate will be expected to meet completion targets associated to the projects. Monthly reporting will be provided.
The candidate will work alongside of existing team members and will take direction from them.
