SAP SCM Project Manager (LB004)

Our client is looking for Senior Project Manager who has experience working with SAP ERP Supply Chain and Finance Solution. Some key responsibilities include

Primary Responsibilities
Planning Management:
  • Establish an overall project plan in compliance with defined project management methodology and change management protocols
  • Develop, monitor and actively manage a task-level Microsoft Project master schedule/plan, including the  gathering of time estimates and cost estimates as input to the schedule and the budget and resource plan
  • Plan, monitor and manage project staffing, liaising with the resource managers for staffing assignment, ensuring accurate resource forecasting and allocation continues throughout the project life-cycle
Financial Management:
  • Develop a budget and resource plan, actively monitoring and managing all project financials
  • Experience managing large scale projects of over 10M$
  • Track all project resource and non-resource costs, clearly differentiating between operational and capital expenditures
  • Work with enterprise procurement to create statements of work and purchase orders, tracking all invoices, accounts receivable and accounts payable as they relate to the project
Communication Management:
  • Consistently communicate succinct, clear, quality information to capture interest, inform and gain support, to all levels, across the enterprise
  • Facilitate timely and effective meetings, including those with Senior Executive
  • Effectively communicate relevant project information to all project stakeholders, at all levels across the enterprise, both written and verbal
  • Resolve and/or escalate issues in a timely fashion
  • Communicate difficult / sensitive information tactfully
Stakeholder Management:
  • In a fully matrix environment, manage the day-to-day deliverables of all project resources
  • Provide guidance and leadership throughout the project life-cycle, including input into performance development plans
  • Collaborate and independently manage a wide range of vendors to develop customized solutions and develop new capabilities
  • Manage expectations of all project stakeholders, at all levels, from IT and the Business, from the project executives down to the project team
  • Manage vendor delivery in accordance with any project statements of work
Risk and Issue Management:
  • Identify, assess, rank and describe the process of how project risks will be avoided or mitigated and assign accountability around the ongoing monitoring of any perceived risks that the project might encounter that could impact the ability to successfully deliver
  • Identify, prioritize, address and monitor project issues as they arise throughout the project life-cycle
Scope Management:
  • Oversee the creation of business cases and functional and non-functional requirements to ensure alignment with project charter and/or definition statement
