Job Description:
As ATB’s Senior Construction Manager (Contract) with People Places & Spaces, you will serve as the lead technical authority and primary Owner’s Representative Construction Manager for a flagship corporate office project in Calgary.
Reporting to the Senior Manager of Construction in this contract role, you will maintain direct oversight of all project controls and provide mentorship to a supporting Construction Manager and coordinator. Advanced understanding of the nuances between "Services" and "Work" within the 5B contract, including the management of Construction Manager Fees vs. Reimbursable Costs. Understanding of CCDC5B conversion to stipulated price.
- Estimating & Quantity Surveying:
High integrity data driven estimation experience coupled with critical analysis GC trade awards to ensure market-competitiveness in the Calgary region.

Expertise in managing allowances and contingencies as an owner’s representative. - Management of Professionals: Proven ability to coordinate with peer Construction Managers and Coordinators and manage a high-tier General Contractor.

Skilled at navigating the tension between a General Contractor tendered price and the Owner’s budget.
