Job Title: Technology Architect

Work Arrangement

• Onsite – 5 days/week

• Monday to Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Role Summary

The Technology Architect will act as a subject matter expert supporting infrastructure initiatives across on-prem and cloud environments. The role focuses on networking, SDN, automation, service enablement, and reliability engineering while supporting complex integrations, migrations, and mission-critical systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day operations of on-prem infrastructure, including integration with cloud vendors

• Design, configure, and support SDN networking, secure networks, and improve colo networking

• Create and execute automation activities to improve service delivery

• Support migrations to new hardware and software stacks

• Assist with lifecycle management (LCM) refresh strategies

• Support refresh and modernization of legacy environments

• Assist FTE teams with complex infrastructure design and build activities (on-prem and cloud)

• Support mission-critical application incidents as required

• Guide integration teams to enable networking and pipeline services

• Act as Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) support when required

• Generate reports and support knowledge and skills transfer activities

Required Skills & Experience

Core Technology Experience

• Extensive experience deploying and managing core IT infrastructure

• Hands-on experience with:

  • Networking

  • Firewalls

  • SDN

  • Hypervisors

• Strong experience with VMware environments

• Experience building infrastructure using automation based on design specifications

• Experience integrating services such as identity management, logging, and monitoring

• Proven ability to manage projects and initiatives end-to-end

• Experience handling intake requests and resolving incidents efficiently

Networking & Infrastructure Expertise

• Proven experience facilitating integration and enablement across platforms such as:

  • VPNs

  • B2B

  • Business Connect

• Strong hands-on experience with on-prem cloud environments

• Experience with:

  • VMware networking

  • Automation and patching

  • CI/CD pipelines for Infrastructure as Code

• Extensive experience designing and implementing networking using:

  • SDN

  • Tenants

  • Micro-segmentation

  • VMware

  • Cisco ACI

• Strong knowledge of:

  • Firewalls

  • L2 / L3 networking

  • Routing

Service Delivery & Reliability

• Apply SRE practices to improve automation, monitoring, and service delivery

• Develop scripts to automate network configuration, monitoring, and maintenance

• Improve network reliability and performance through automated detection and resolution

• Integrate monitoring tools with self-service portals for real-time insights and alerts

Problem Solving & Communication

• Demonstrated experience troubleshooting complex infrastructure issues

• Experience supporting large enterprise environments

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Effective communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders
